Grupo Folklórico Xochiquetzal was started in 2022 and is made up of volunteers ranging from ages 5 to mid 60s. Folkloric is a Spanish word ford folk or folkloric. Folkloric is a type of dance, music and wardrobe which highlights several Mexican cultures. We know that our Indigenous people of Mexico already had dance and music traditions. We want to carry and teach about Mexican culture. You may also see special performance from another neighboring country in our performance
